Gilliard-Rice attends conference

Tina Gilliard-Rice will attend a weeklong conference hosted by the National Association of Educational Office Professionals on July 14 to 18 in Portland, Oregon.

Gilliard-Rice will participate in several learning opportunities during this conference as well as, receive formal recognition for achieving the distinction of Certify Educational Office Employee (CEOE). Gilliard-Rice has successfully completed the requirements of the National Association of Educational Office Professional Standards Program in Advance III Option 1 and CEOE.

Gilliard-Rice has been employed at Kensington Elementary School in the Office of Student Services for the past 28 years.

Currently, Gilliard-Rice serves as the vice president and membership recruiting chair of the South Carolina Association of Educational Office Professionals. She is also, completing her studies in business leadership and organization management. She is married to Dorris Rice and collectively they have two sons, a daughter, a daughter in-law, and four adorable granddaughters.

She is the daughter of Barbara Faison and a member of First Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. She is the daughter-in-law of Albert and Julia Rice.
