Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda Michell Aguirre Wall, conducted by Sr. Bishop Dr. Odell Fulton, were held Friday, June 27, 2014, at Sandridge Believers Holiness Church of Kingstree, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home. Burial followed Monday, June 30, 2014, at Memory Garden Cemetery of Amarillo, Texas. Mrs. Wall died Sunday, June 22, 2014, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in North Carolina. She was born March 2, 1983, in Lubbock, Texas, the daughter of the late David Aguirre and Matilda Estrada Aguirre. She graduated from Caprock High School in Amarillo, Texas, in 2001. She enlisted in the United States Marines in 2002, where she served her country for four years. She was employed with the Williamsburg County Detention Center of Kingstree, and later Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center of Columbia. Survivors are: her husband, Staff Sgt. Jimmy R. Wall, Sr. of Parris Island; two children, Jimmy Reed Wall, Jr. and Alexandria Maltilda Wall, both of the home; three sisters, Roxanne Melendrez (Scott) of Amarillo, Texas; Rebecca Brownlee (James) of Spareville, Kansas; and Kristina Aguirre of St. Joseph, Missouri; three brothers, David Aguirre, Jr., Angel Aguirre, and Terry Aguirre, all of St. Joseph, Missouri; her mother-in-law, Lou Ester Blake of Kingstree; and two grandmothers, Rosa Santoyo Aguirre of Lubbock, TX and Elizabeth Wall of Kingstree.
