Sinking boat near Murrells Inlet

The United States Coast Guard, Murrells Inlet-Garden City Fire and the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office are responding to a report of a sinking boat in the area of Paradise Buoy

near Murrells Inlet.

Central Dispatch reported there could be as many as seven people in the water.

There are reports water conditions in the area are rough.
