Pawleys Islandís Junior American Legion baseball team dug out of an early six-run deficit but came up one run short to Andrews on June 30.
Andrews put up four runs in the third inning and added two in the fourth inning to take a 6-0 lead.
The deficit could have been larger, but Forest Powell came on in relief and got a double play with the bases loaded to end the inning.
Pawleys Island cut the lead to 6-3 in the bottom of the fourth.
Levi Almond and Will Golden walked and Hampton Roberts beat out a bunt to load the bases. After Almond scored on a single by Alex Nash, Golden and Roberts scored on a two-out single by Alex Altman.
Andrews added runs in the fifth and sixth innings to extend the lead to 8-3.
Pawleys Island then rallied in its last at-bat.

Golden then tripled to score Altman and Almond to cut the lead to 8-5.
After Roberts walked, Wes Lee doubled to score Golden.
McKinley Grooms then walked to load the bases, and Kody Gould walked to force in Roberts.
But the rally ended there, and Andrews won 8-7.
Pawleys Island pitchers gave up 10 hits and the defense committed four errors.
