Music in the Park

The Georgetown Business Association presents the Party Favor Band on Thurs., July 3 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Francis Marion Park.

Parade

The 48th annual Pawleys Island Fourth of July Parade kicks off at 10 a.m. Begins at South Causeway, loops around island. Make sure to get there before the causeways close. No rain date.

Boat parade

The 31st annual July Fourth Boat Parade starts at noon from Garden City Point and then heads on to the Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk.

Flyover

The Salute from the Shore flyover will be passing over the Murrells Inlet Jetty, Litchfield Beach and Pawleys Island at about 1 p.m.

Evening celebration

The fourth annual Pawleys Island Fourth of July Evening Celebration will be held at 6 p.m. inside the Parish Life Center at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church, 1633 Waverly Road. The program is a salute to the nation and the military featuring the Pawleys Island Concert Band. Sandwiches, hot dogs, and soft drinks will be available for purchase. Doors open at 5 p.m. The event is sponsored by Knights of Columbus Assembly 3272 and Council 11028. Admission is free.

Concert

The Indigo Choral Society will have a concert on the Kaminski House lawn at 7 p.m. Fireworks to follow. Rain location is Georgetown Presbyterian Church.

Fireworks

Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk, 10 p.m. Rain date TBD.

East Bay Park, Georgetown 9 p.m. Rain date TBD.
