Leslie Grace Locke Lane Whitley, 65, of Murrells Inlet, died Fri., June 27, 2014 at her residence.
Mrs. Whitley was born in Columbus, Ga. on Aug. 29, 1948, a daughter of the late Edwin Adelbert Locke, III and Yvonne Neal Locke. She was a former pre-school teach at All Saints Church School at Pawleys Island and later taught at the Montessori Schools in New Orleans, La. and at Pawleys Island for a number of years. Mrs. Whitley was affectingly known as Miss Leslie by her decades of students that she taught. She was a very loving mother and grandmother and had many loving friends.
Surviving are: a son Kenneth James Woods (Michelle) of Georgetown; a daughter, Elise Lane Kelly of Pawleys Island; four grandchildren, Samuel and Ethan Wood and Hayden and Taylor Kelly; three brothers, Eddie, Jimbo, and David Locke; and two sisters, Teddy and
John Harley Williamson, age 82, of Murrells Inlet, died on Friday, June 27, 2014 at his residence.
Born in Conway, John was a son of the late Hubert and Mollie Williamson. He was a member of the Harbor Baptist Temple.
Survivors include his wife Lucile T. Williamson of Murrells Inlet; sons Thomas Williamson and his wife Cathy of St. Albans, WV, Randall Williamson of St. Albans, WV, Harley Jeremiah Williamson and his wife Margaret of Conway; daughter Nettie Francis Suggs and her husband Morris of Murrells Inlet; stepchildren Purley Suggs and his wife Lori of Fayetteville, NC, William Suggs and his wife Mindy of Conway, Lee Suggs and his wife Shannon of Florence, Kevin Howard and his wife Ashley of Conway, Frances Drury and her husband Richard of Hortense, GA, 34 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren..
The Funeral will be held 1 p.m, Tue., July 1, 2014 at Harbor Baptist Temple with the burial to follow at Johnson Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Mon., June 30 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Whitley was predeceased by: a granddaughter, Grace Wood.
Memorial services will be Wed. morning, July 2, 2014, at Georgetown Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Stephen H. Wilkins.
