Ford serves

Senior Chief Terence D. Ford, a native of Georgetown graduated from Georgetown High School in 1989 and enlisted into the U.S. Navy.

Ford attended Fireman Apprentice Trainin at NTC Great Lakes, completed a tour with the Waterford ARD 5, attended refrigeration and Aircondioning Systems Technician Class ďCĒ Shool in Norfolk. Ford served at the USS Stark. He attended Cargo/Weapons Elevator school and later reported to the Navy Orientation Recruiting Unit in Pensacola, Fla.

Ford has served at the NRD Houston, the NRD Richmond, the NRD Nashville and Navy Recruiting Command. He is the Senior Command Trainer at NRD Atlanta.

Fordís military awards and decoration include three Navy Commendation medals, eight Navy and Marine Corp Achievment Medals and various other unit and service awards.

Fordís children are Terence D. Ford Jr., Tierra l. Ford, Jaxon Ford, Joseph Jones and Rodrick Wood.

Giles graduates

Air Force Airman Jamal D. Giles graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Giles is the son of Katherine Grant and Jimmie L. Giles, both of Andrews.

He is a 2013 graduate of Andrews High School.

Rush graduates

U.S. Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Kartrez L. Rush graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Rush is the son of James E. and Gwenevere W. Rush and grandson of Emma W. Johnson, all of Andrews.

He is a 2009 graduate of Kingstree Senior High School.
