Brookgreen Gardens is open until 9 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays until Aug. 8 (Lowcountry Zoo area closes at 7 p.m.).
Enjoy outdoor concerts and special programs just for kids. Entertainment and programs are included in garden admission.
Thursday, June 26 – Up Close at the Zoo – Jerry Walls, co-star of CBS television’s ‘Carolina Safari’, will present educational and interactive program about Carnivorous Plants at 5 p.m. Live Performances in the Enchanted Storybook Forest – Cinderella will be on hand at 6 p.m. costumed and ready to engage the audiences. Boat rides are at 5, 6 and 7 p.m. (Tickets required - $8 adults, $4 children. Same day purchase only.)
Friday, June 27 – Concerts on the Lawn – The Paul Grimshaw Band performs popular songs crowds know and love from virtually every genre, oldies to modern.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to Wednesday and Friday performances. The Lowcountry Trail, the Zoo, Butterfly House, and Enchanted Storybook Forest close at 7 p.m.
