Friends of the Waccamaw Library (FOWL) is holding its 24th annual Book Sale July 10- 12.
Donations for the annual book sale are now being accepted. Needed are books in good condition, CDs, DVDs, and audio books.
Donations can be dropped off at the Library on Commerce St. in Pawleys Island or at the Chocolate & Coffee Shop, located in the Litchfield Exchange (behind Applewood Pancake House.)
Materials will be accepted until June 20. Please, no encyclopedias, medical books over three years old, textbooks, or professional books.
After sorting the books, FOWL volunteers will set up the sale in Berly Hall at St. Paul’s Waccamaw United Methodist Church in Litchfield.
Sale dates are: Thursday, July 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. (Friends Night, by invitation only,) then the sale will be open to the public on Friday, July 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, July 11 from 9 a.m.to noon.
The new TLC – Waccamaw is scheduled to open in mid-December. FOWL appreciates all the support they receive from the community.
