Lisa Krasucki

Lisa Michelle Newton Krasucki, 46, of Andrews, the wife of Paul P. Krasucki, Jr., departed this life on June 9, 2014.

Mrs. Krasucki was born the daughter of Douglas “Bud” Webster Newton and Carolyn Evelina Jones Newton on Dec. 9, 1967 in Georgetown County. She was an active member Saving Souls On-line.

She leaves behind her husband; three daughters, Kara Lynn (Corey Eddington) Krasucki, Brandi Johnson, and Christy Johnson; two brothers, Robert (Becky) Newton and Ricky (Melissa) Newton; and two sisters, Carolyn Miller and Libby Price.

She was predeceased by: her parents; and a special aunt, Juanita Hoctor.

A Celebration of Life was at 3 p.m., Sun., June 15 at Spring Pond Pentecostal Holiness Church. Interment followed in the Andrews Memorial Cemetery directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.

Visitation was from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday evening, June 14 at the Andrews Chapel.

McKenzie Funeral Home was honored to serve the Krasucki-Newton family.

Andrew Linen

Linen-Knox Funeral Home announces the funeral services for Mr. Andrew Linen, age 68, of the Dunbar community who died on Mon., June 9, 2014 at Tidelands Community Hospice House in Georgetown. Mr. Linen is the son of the late David Linen Sr. and the late Elenora Linen. Funeral services for Mr. Linen were held on Sat., June 14 at 11 a.m. at the Mt Olive Baptist Church in the Dunbar community of Georgetown with the Rev. Dr. Eddie Gamble Jr. officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The remains lied in state in the sanctuary of the church from 9 a.m. until the hour of service. The viewing was held on Fri., June 13 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Linen-Knox Funeral Home.

Mr. Linen is survived by his daughter and eleven siblings – one daughter, Bebe Linen of Bronx, NY; six sisters, Laura Lance of Rose Hill Road in Georgetown, Bernice Reed and Rebecca Williams, both of the Lanes Creek community of Georgetown, Julia Linen of Bronx, NY, Sheila Jenkins of Yonkers, NY, and Annette Linen Fairley of Georgetown; five brothers, Lawrence Linen and Paul Linen both of the Dunbar community of Georgetown, David Linen Jr. of Georgetown, Gary Linen of Manhattan, NY, and Saul Linen of Yonkers, NY; and a host of loving uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Linen-Knox Funeral Home.

Albert Moody

Linen-Knox Funeral Home announces the funeral services for Mr. Albert Emanuel Moody, age 60, of the Carvers Bay community of Georgetown. Mr. Moody died on Wed., June 11, 2014 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mr. Moody is the husband of Donetha Young Moody and the son of the late Laydell Moody and Betty Moody of Newark, NJ. Two sisters preceded him in death, Othella Moody and Kathy Moody both of Loris. Funeral services for Mr. Moody were held on Mon., June 16 at noon at the Church of God and True Holiness Church in the St. Luke community where Elder Anthony Chandler, pastor, officiated. Burial followed in the Silver Star Cemetery on 4291 Bethel Chapel Road in Loris. The remains lied in state in the sanctuary of the church from 11 a.m. until the hour of service. Viewing services for Mr. Moody were held on Sun., June 15 at Linen-Knox Funeral Home chapel from 3 to 5 p.m.

Survivors include his loving family, mother, Betty Moody of Newark, NJ; wife, Donetha Young Moody of the Carvers Bay community; six daughters, Pricia Moody-Graves of Loris, Altisha Washington of Newark, NJ, Evelyn Moody and Zentia Moody both of Atlanta, GA, Denise Dorsey and Iesha Green both of the Carvers Bay community; four sons, Albert Moody Jr. of Kings Mountain, NC, Michael Moody of Conway, Dewayne Young and Benson Dorsey both of Charlotte, NC; two sisters, Carolyn Moody-Jones of Loris and Anita Oliver of Billerica, MA; four brothers Bishop Gregory Reeves of Tabor City, NC, Raymond Moody of Loris, Jeffrey Moody and Marco Moody both of Newark, NJ; and a host of loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Family and friends may call the home of the wife Donetha Young-Moody in the Carvers Bay community.
