Karla Ann Kephart and Dr. Henry Grady Adkins III were united in marriage on April 26 in Murrells Inlet. The Right Reverend David Bryan of Christ Church officiated the five o’clock outdoor service, which was held overlooking the inlet at the home of Egerton and Jeane Burroughs.
The bride is the daughter of Keith and Susan Kephart of Pawleys Island.
A graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science, she is employed with Georgetown Hospital System as the physician liasion.
The groom is the son of Grady and Marcia Adkins of Columbia.
A graduate of Wofford College with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, and of the Medical University of South Carolina with a Doctorate in Medicine, he is employed with Georgetown Health Group as a family physician.
Scripture readings were provided by the bride’s sisters, Kristen Rahalewicz and Kyra Corley.
Bride’s attendants were her neices Emily Rahalewicz, Elizabeth Rahalewicz, and Caroline Grace Corley. Best man was the groom’s brother, Kirkland Adkins. The wedding arbor was provided by Dr Morgan Lowry, a close friend of the couple. Harp music was provided by Becky Nissen. Photography and videography were provided by Mark Roberts.
The couple reside in Pawleys Island. They plan a honeymoon to Aruba in the winter.
