Flag Day: The DAR Winyah Chapter will sponsor a Flag Day Retirement Ceremony at Morgan Park in Georgetown at 10 a.m. Bring a chair. Anyone wishing to turn in their old flags will find a dropbox at the Chamber of Commerce on Front St.

Clothes closet sale: St. Cyprian Clothes Closet, 1905 Front St., Georgetown, will have a clothes closet sale from 3 to 5:30 p.m.

Remembrance Program: Ayida Wedo Drummers Society, Inc. proposes the first Georgetown Middle Passage Remembrance Program, paying homage and respect to the millions of Africans who perished in the Middle Passage. The program will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Harborwalk near the rear of the Rice Museum.

family fun day: Henryhand Funeral Home in Andrews is hosting a free event in Andrews for the community. Henryhand Funeral Home’s Family Fun Day will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Andrews Pavillion on West Ashland Drive in Andrews. Fish, Hotdogs, games, giant inflatable bouncers, face painting, music and entertainment.

Greater Bible way: The Greater Bible Way Church of Georgetown, 1518 Hawkins St., will be having a Kidz Connection for chldren six to 12 at noon.

PREPARED CHILDBIRTH: Education Center at the Georgetown Memorial Hospital campus from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. $50 fee; pre-registration is required by calling 520-8490 or by self registration via the hospital’s website.

farmers Market: The Georgetown farmers market at East Bay Park is every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Pawleys Island farmers market at the Waccamaw Regional Recreation Center is every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Picnic and Paddle: Hampton Plantation State Historic Site and Nature Adventures Outfitters are offering a Father’s Day paddle and picnic.
