CDL program offered at MMTC

Miller-Motte Technical College, along with the Conway Chamber of Commerce, will be unveiling and cutting the ribbon on its new Class A Commercial Driverís License training program Tuesday, June 17 at noon.

The ribbon cutting will be followed by a campus-wide Open House from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. DJ Stick will provide music for the afternoon as jugglers, caricature artist, and a magician will be ready to amaze. There will be an inflatable obstacle course for the kids, and campus will be open for tours to anyone interested in learning more about Miller-Motte.

Free food will be provided by Murrells Inlet restaurant Driftwoods Seafood & Steak.

The new 4-week CDL program delivers training with an emphasis on classroom and range training necessary to take the CDL Class A exam.

All training, instruction, and testing are done at school facilities and in school-provided equipment.

Graduates of the new CDL program will receive a certificate of completion to help them begin an entry-level career as an important member of the Professional Truck Driving team.

Miller-Motte Technical College is located at 2451 Hwy 501 East, Conway.
