Pawleys Island Dollar General robbed

The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who robbed  the Dollar General store in Pawleys Island Sunday evening.
Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Carrie Cuthbertson said it happened at about 9:30 p.m. at the store located at 10400 Ocean Highway.

"The clerk stated a black male entered the store and demanded money from the register. The suspect ordered the victim to the floor with what appeared to be a handgun. One employee was able to escape out the front door and the suspect followed, then fled south on foot. No one was injured during the incident," she stated.

The suspect is described as average height and weight. He was wearing a long sleeve grey hoodie, grey sweatpants, white tennis shoes and had a mask covering his face.
