A bear taking a leisurely stroll through a populated neighborhood is not something you see every day. But, it's exactly what was seen in Andrews today.
Andrews police says the bear, 500-600 pounds, was first spotted Friday morning and six police officers, as well as firefighters, responded to the scene. It was in the area of Magnolia and Rosemary streets.
The bear was behind a house when police arrived. He wandered onto another road before returning to the woods. The Department of Natural Resources were also called the scene.
