To the Editor:
Every campaign season candidates make promises as to what they will do if elected. Last fall the winning candidates for City Council and Mayor made some too:
They would issue an RFP to get ideas as to what the next step would be if either the steel mill or the paper mill shut down.
They would issue an RFP to consider privatizing garbage collection, waste water treatment, water, and electricity.
They would budget $400,000 to promote and advertise the City.
These were all promises made at a forum/debate.
The citizens await!
