Thanks to call who came

  • Wednesday, June 4, 2014

To the Editor:

A special thanks to all who came out to Francis Marion Park to honor our country’s veterans at Monday’s Memorial Day Service.

Thanks also to all who gave up their Thursday morning to help the veterans set nearly 3,000 flags at the graves of our local men and women who served.

It is truly gratifying to know that ‘patriotism’ is not dead in Georgetown.
