Fight in progress, aisle 7

Police were dispatched to Walmart in Georgetown after the manager was notified by an employee that a fight was taking place in aisle seven.

The manager said as she made her way to the front of the store, she saw several people arguing very loudly near the registers.

The victim – a 38-year-old woman – said she and three children were in the soap aisle when another juvenile approached and started using profanity toward them because of something that happened earlier this month at the Georgetown Housing Authority.

“After a few choice words were exchanged by both parties,” the juvenile left and the woman continued shopping, the report states.

When she was in the checkout line, a 57-year-old man walked up and started yelling at her as he accused her of cursing at his granddaughter.

The woman responded by telling the man his granddaughter needed to tell the whole truth.

After store workers separated the two, the man walked outside and left in a church van.

Before they walked out of the store, the man’s granddaughter reportedly looked at the woman and said “This is not over. I will see you in the streets. Pow pow pow.”

Police pulled the van over and the man and his granddaughter were warned to have no contact with the woman and her children.
