Georgetown native receives administrator award

Tondaleya Green Jackson received the Benedict College 2013-2014 Outstanding Administrator of the Year award during the college’s commencement convocation recently.

This prestigious honor recognizes a college program manager who has gone above and beyond in service to the college and the wider community.

Jackson’s service to the college is exemplified through her receipt of numerous national and state awards that include the Washington Institute Higher Education Civic Engagement Award and the South Carolina College Personnel association Paul F. Fidler Bridge Builder Award among others.

Jackson has a rich and varied educational background that started as a student in the Georgetown High School Teacher Cadet program.

Jackson is currently the program director for the Benedict College Service-Learning and Leadership Development Program. She is also and adjunct facilitator with the South Carolina State Department of Education. She is the owner of TLC – Total Learning Concepts.

She is married to Leonard and they are the proud parents of one daughter, Tennare Simone.
