revival: St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church, 3462 South Island Road, Georgetown will be having their annual spring revival May 28 to 30 at 7:30 p.m. nightly.

Pilotage commission: The Georgetown Pilotage Commission will meet at 5 p.m. at the United Way Building, Front St., Georgetown.

Health fair: Their will be a Health Fair from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church Family Life Center.

Knitting 101: Learning the Basics, with Ellen McClinton from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Classes for kid’s knitting also. Call or come by to register. JOYfilled Gifts, 800 Front St., Georgetown 545-5344.

BIBLE STUDY: Living Word Christian Center will host a Bible study at 7 p.m. at 66 Plover Dr. in Georgetown.

BETHESDA SERVICE: Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church will have prayer meeting and Bible study at 6 p.m.

PIONEER CLUB: Children’s Pioneer Club will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. at Graves Southern Baptist Church, 44 Vine Ct., Hwy. 521 in Georgetown.

PRAYER, BIBLE STUDY: First Church of God, 422 King St., Georgetown, will have a prayer, praise and worship service from noon to 1 p.m.

Upper Room: The Upper Room Ministry will meet at the Carolinian Inn, 706 Church St., Georgetown, every Wednesday at 7 p.m. If you need a ride please call 843-546-4898.

single moms: The Georgetown Outreach Ministries, Inc. offers weekly empowering sessions helping young single moms prepare for the workforce, develop positive attitudes, enhance decision making skills, become economically viable and develop stable, healthy families. Sessions are held on Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. at The Meeting Place, 2921 Highmarket St. Call 520-0875 for further details.

CHIEFS: The Georgetown County Chiefs will meet from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Hardee’s in Georgetown. New and old veterans are welcome.

GEORGETOWN AFG: The Georgetown Al-Anon Family Group meets at 7 p.m. at Georgetown Presbyterian Church (enter front portico, turn right), 558 Black River Road in Georgetown.

DISASTER NIGHTS: The Georgetown County Hurricane Project hosts “Disaster Nights” at the Georgetown County Library at 5:30 p.m. Participants play Stop Disaster, a game in which you build the safest city possible and then hit it with a natural disaster. The player whose city survives most intact wins the game – and a survivor prize like astronaut ice cream or a battery powered radio.

Game Night: Andrews Library and The Georgetown Library hosts a weekly board and card game night Thursday evenings where a wide variety of games are played. This BYTES Project event is open to anyone, with many of the games being suitable for ages 8+. Andrews Library 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Georgetown Library: 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Call 545-3300 to find out more about the program.

exercise program: Arnett AME Church, 900 N. Merriman Rd. has an exercise program that meets every Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 8 a.m. Church School is Sundays at 9 a.m. and Worship 10 a.m., Bible Study is Tuesdays 6 p.m. and Mid-week worship is Wednesdays 7 p.m.

Gateway to Recovery: Gateway to Recovery is held at Soul Saving Station Church, 1919 Hawkins St., Georgetown at 6 p.m. For information call 527-1785.

Prevailing Purpose CHURCH: Prevailing Purpose Church, 249 Wedgefield Rd., will have fellowship, prayer and healing at 7 p.m.
