St. Frances Animal Center of Georgetown has many animals seeking new homes. The Georgetown Times features Pets of the Week each Wednesday.

Hi there, my name is Taylor. I know what it is to have a home. How is that possible you ask? Well, I've had a home before. A home full of love and kindness. Unfortunately however, after 11 years, my previous owner was unable to afford the expenses of having a pet. While it breaks my heart that I am no longer a part of that family, the hope of finding another home is what keeps me going. I would make a great pet, please come visit me today.

Hello there, my name is Wiggly. Can you guess how I got my name? I'll give you a few hints. I was brought to Saint Frances by Animal Control after I was wandering the streets alone for days. I made my home behind a store. A popular grocery store, that has numerous locations... Piggly Wiggly. I am a sweet, outgoing, playful little boy who is looking for a place I can call home permanently. I've been waiting a long time for a home and I'm starting to give up hope that anyone will ever want me. Please prove me wrong, and come adopt me today.

Meet Sam. This beautiful boy came to Saint Frances with the best personality a dog could have. He has a handsome face, a soft coat, and a loving demeanor. He gets along well with other dogs, walks great on a leash, and even kennels up to go for a ride. If your looking for a sweet boy to add to your family, Sam would be the perfect addition. Come adopt him today.

For information, call 546-0780 ext. 222, or visit at 125 Ridge Road, Georgetown. Appointments are preferred.
