To the Editor:
I hope you have the space to print one more letter about the superior care available from Georgetown Hospital, as I have one more to add to the pile.
A month ago my sister was driving through your town when she became medically incapacitated. The police were able to get her to your hospital, but they had little to go on in regards to her identity.
The staff at the ER that night did some amazing things. Not only did they take excellent care of my sister, they found out where her car was, and on their own time, made sure it was secured and brought back some items for my sister. They also used the contacts on her phone to alert her family.
Never have I seen such caring people. The world is a better place because of Georgetown Hospital and the people in that ER. Thank you.
