Waccamaw High’s boys golf team finished second in the Class state tournament this week.
The Warriors shot a two-day team total of 626.
Bishop England won the team title with a 609.
Adam Wooldridge led Waccamaw with a 149, and tied for first in the individual contest, but lost in a playoff.
He took home an individual silver medal and a place on the All-State team.
Davis Hogan shot a 156 to also make the All-State team.
Other Waccamaw scores: Will Canipe 159, Patrick Golden 164, and Jackson Cole 168.
The Yellow Jackets shot a team total of 699 to finish 14th at state.
Individual scores: Anthony Angus 184, Dillon Stone 188, Kaleb Thomas 242, and Hunter Morris 285.
