The Dollar General Literacy Foundation awarded The Georgetown Outreach Ministries, Inc. and Ex-Cel Enchanted Learning in Georgetown a literacy grant in the amount of $8,000 and $2,000, respectively to support adult, family and summer literacy programs.
These local grants are part of over $6 million awarded today to approximately 700 schools, nonprofits and organizations across the 40 states the company serves.
The Dollar General Literacy Foundation supports initiatives that help others improve their lives through literacy and education.
