  • Friday, May 16, 2014

Teens who need help looking for summer jobs should plan to attend a Youth Symposium on Wednesday at the Beck Administration Building in Georgetown.

Topics will include improving resumes and interview skills, and how to fill out an application.

Don Weaver, a career development facilitator, will be on hand to offer advice.

The event, from 6 to 8 p.m., is sponsored by The Village Group, the Waccamaw Regional Education Center, and the Waccamaw Workforce Investment Youth Program.
