Wine and arts lovers are invited to celebrate their passions at the fourth annual Wines of the World event hosted by Litchfield Ballet Foundation (LBF). As of April 25, key event sponsors are arts patrons Charles Doubek, Cindy Bindner, MD, and Litchfield Wine & Liquors. Local beverage distributor representatives will sample more than two dozen wines from around the world to accompany tasty tidbits prepared by James Arnold & Friends and Pawleys Island Bakery.

This year’s Wines of the World fundraiser is Saturday, May 31, 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Litchfield Dance Arts Academy, 97 Otis Dr. Tickets are $30 per person and available at the door, by calling 843-237-7465, or sending a message to ldaaoffice@gmail.com.

In addition to wine tastings and sweet and savory treats, guests will enjoy music from local singer/guitarist Don Thomas as well as dance vignettes by Litchfield Dance Arts Academy students. The evening’s offerings also include a silent auction featuring vacation rentals, golf packages, chef’s dinners, and a wealth of themed gift baskets.

Proceeds from Wines of the World support the production of and participation in community and competitive dance performances.
