To the Editor:

A big thank you goes out to all the Lions both here in Georgetown and throughout the state for making this years Walk for Sight such a big success. As for our Georgetown Lions we had 28 who participated and it turned out to be a great day for walking. By doing this we encourage each other as Lions and we also can be seen in the community for what we support. As we all know to be a Lion costs each of us. We sacrifice time and spend our own monies to support what we know is a great work for our community. This sacrifice does not go unnoticed. We are rewarded daily with the joy of helping others and we know the joys of having the abilities to give and not have to be on the receiving end. Thanks again also for those who served in other supporting roles with our walk. Thanks again for your support and lets make next years walk even bigger and more enjoyable.
