Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church: The Bethesday Missionary Baptist Church, 225 Wood St., Georgetown will be having their 14th Anniversary celebration honoring their pastor, Rev. Alphonso N. Scott and the first family, Sis. Tonya H. Scott and Alani. The celebration will start at 7 p.m. with a musical program. The culminating service will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, May 4. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Dr. Eddie Gamble Jr., pastor of Mt. Olive, Dunbar and Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Andrews.

charity motorcycle ride: A “Ride for the Cause” charity motorcycle ride will be held to support the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
