Little ones help Relay

Molly Tisdale’s pre-K class at Sampit Elementary School spent part of class on Tuesday coloring luminaries to be displayed at this year’s Relay for Life fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. The local theme for this year’s event is “Georgetown Strong.” The relay kicks of at Georgetown High School’s football stadium on Friday at 6 p.m. and continues until 1 a.m. New this year will be a “Ms.(ter) Relay Beauty Contest” beginning at 8 p.m. For more information call 455-5121 or go to www.relayforlife.org.
