Jim Rogers will be at Clock Tower Books, 105 Screven St., Georgetown on Friday, April 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. He will be doing a book signing and reading from his latest book, “Starts and Stops Along the Way.”
Wine and light hors devours will be served.
Unconventional, free verse poems, and scattered narratives from an active senior, “Starts and Stops Along the Way” is a personal memoir comprised of observations, opinions and philosophies, hopes and dreams, and successes and failures of a life lived so far. It is a universal look at how it feels to grow older and the multiple life experiences that take us up to the heights and down to the pits. Rogers’ free verses are filled with humor and insight and invite the readers to share their own observations, dreams, successes, and failures.
The book welcomes others on the same journey to live their lives fully and reminds readers to stay connected to the best traveling partner they can find: themselves.
