As a professional development component of the Lenore Annenberg Grant received by D.P. Cooper Elementary School, Aneitra Gaymon, Technology and Learning Coach at Longleaf Middle School in Richland School District Two, presented an all day engaging workshop using Google Chromebooks with D.P. Cooper's instructional staff on Monday, March 31 2014.

Gaymon worked individually with teachers and instructional assistants in preparation for the rollout of Google Chromebooks in a one-to-one blended education program with the students.
Dr. Kerry D. Singleton, D.P. Cooper principal, stated, "Before we are ready for our students to use technology, our teachers and staff must be trained to incorporate these devices into their lessons. We are preparing our students for tomorrow's jobs where technology and innovation will be more important than ever. We know our students will be ready!"

Gaymon held a drawing for a digital camera before ending her workshop. Muriel McCray, a fifth grade teacher with D.P. Cooper Elementary, was the lucky winner!
