The Annual Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Georgetown Business Association, will be Saturday, April 19th at 9:00 a.m. at Rainey Park.
The event is free and open to the public. Families are urged to arrive 10 minutes early because the children usually collect all the eggs by 9:15 a.m.
Easter Egg Hunt coordinator, Katie Maleckar of Prince George Framing, noted, “The children really enjoy this egg hunt on the day before Easter. It is a great family event and terrific picture opportunity.”
The Easter Egg Hunt is part of the GBA’s series of over a dozen events to draw families to Georgetown and celebrate the historic waterfront, unique shops, and excellent restaurants.
The next event is the Blessing of the Fleet on Saturday, April 26th.
In Pawleys Island, the Hammock Shops Village will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19, at 3 p.m. There will be free punch, cookies, and prizes from the shop owners. The Easter Bunny will be available to take pictures.
