Author India T. Richardson has had a passion for helping youth since she was a young girl herself. So, when the chance to publish her first book presented itself, she did not hesitate to write one that would reach young girls all over the world. The book is entitled “G.I.R.L.L. Who: Inspiration to unlock the Gifted, Intelligent, and Radiant Little Lady inside of you.”
In the straightforward conversation-starter-type book, Richardson wrote from her personal experiences growing up and dealing with life’s ups and downs — from a child’s perspective. “I wanted to relate to the child reader. There’s no better way to get on a young girl’s level than to talk about things I went through when I was her age,” said the author.
Richardson’s hope is that young girls everywhere—from all walks of life — are motivated, impacted, and inspired by her words.
The book can be purchased online at https://www.createspace.com/4685464. It is also available on Kindle for Amazon.
Richardson is a native of Andrews, and resides in Charlotte, N.C., where she works with children with autism.
