Johnny Cribb

Johnny David Cribb, age 64, of Hemingway passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in a Charleston hospital.

Mr. Cribb was born in Georgetown, SC a son of the late Garner David and Olive Owens Cribb. He was a retired carpenter and enjoyed fishing with his brothers.

Surviving are his children, Jamie David (Angela) Cribb, Becky (Chad) Rogers, and Sam Cribb; grandchildren, Brint Powell, Brianna Powell and Andrew Brandon; brothers, Melvy (Jo Ann) Cribb, and Gerald (Veretha) Cribb; sisters, Sara Ann (T.J.) Baxley, and Lynn (Harvey) Roberts; a brother- in- law, Donald (Diana) Owens; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Cribb was predeceased by a sister, Mable C. Owens, and a brother Floyd Allen Cribb.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 22 2014, in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral of Hemingway was in the church cemetery.

The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2014 in the Family Life Center of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 11914 Pleasant Hill Drive, Hemingway, SC 29554.
