Deputies searching for two who stole car at gunpoint

A car similar to this was stolen from the Sampit area March 20

  The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office is looking for two men who stole a vehicle at gunpoint. Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Carrie Cuthbertson said it happened at about 1:30 p.m. March 20th at 3819 Powell Road in Sampit.
She said two black male suspects asked for some water for their overheating vehicle. "When the victim exited his vehicle to show the suspects the outside water source, both suspects exited their vehicle and the driver displayed what appeared to be a handgun. As the victim ran for safety, one suspect entered his vehicle and the other suspect entered the suspects' vehicle and both fled the scene south on Powell Road in the direction of Highway 17 South," Cuthbertson said.   The suspects' vehicle is described as an older 1990's model Honda, Gold in color with the front bumper barely attached. One suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6-foot-two-inches in height, stocky build, and dreads wearing a T-shirt and jeans. The victim was unable to give a detailed description of the second suspect. The victim's vehicle is described as a 2000 White BMW 740iL bearing license plate # JLW 202.
