The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office has released a security camera photo in hopes someone can identify the people responsible for a burglary at Pee Dee Grocery that occurred at about 3:30 a.m. March 7.

Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Carrie Cuthbertson said deputies responded to the report of a burglary at the store located at 4230 Old Pee Dee Road. The owner said he was notified by the alarm company about a break in. As he approached the store, the victim observed a small green vehicle with a Johnson Auto Sales paper tag flee from a neighboring road.

Cuthbertson said when deputies arrived, they saw the front glass door of the building broken. “After reviewing the surveillance video, three black male suspects are seen breaking the glass door, entering the building and rummaging through the shelves behind the counter and the coolers,” she said.

One suspect was wearing a light colored long sleeve shirt and camouflage pants with a white baseball cap. The second suspect was wearing dark clothing and a white skull cap. The third suspect was wearing a light colored long sleeve shirt, camouflage pants and a light colored newsboy style cap.

Anyone that can identify the suspect in the screen shot or has any information regarding the burglary is urged to call the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office at 546-5101.
