COLUMBIA – Wednesday, Nancy Mace officially filed as a candidate for the U.S. Senate against Sen. Lindsey Graham.
“While I am humbled by the magnitude of the challenge that lies before us, I am energized by the thousands of people who have raised their hand to be a part of real and lasting change for our nation. Those same people understand that change begins with changing the leaders we send to Washington,” stated Mace.
Mace is the first of Sen. Lindsey Graham’s challenger candidates to open a campaign headquarters. Her campaign also made headlines as the first to air both radio and network television ads.
Nancy is a wife, mother, and small business owner of a marketing and technology consulting firm. She is the first woman to graduate from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina. She holds a Masters in Mass Communication from the University of Georgia. She is the author of “In The Company of Men: A Woman at The Citadel” (Simon and Schuster, 2001). Nancy is the daughter of retired Army Brigadier General Emory Mace and educator Dr. Anne Mace, PhD.
