Spring planting season is not too far away

  • Thursday, March 20, 2014

Get Green for Spring will be presented by the Low Country Herb Society on Saturday, March 29. This free event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Waccamaw Library Conference Room Library Drive Pawleys Island.

This is our second annual event to bring together representatives from Clemson Extension, Inlet Culinary Gardens, Blue Pearl Organic Blueberry and Honey Bee Farm, Debbie Menchek of the Sun News and our LCHS members to answer your herbal, gardening and lawn questions. Are you new to the area and wondering what is best to plant in the Low Country?

This is your opportunity to bring your plants, pictures, and questions to get a head start on getting your garden ready for spring. Visit their website: lcherbsociety.info to learn more about LCHS, their meetings and events and contact us with questions you may have.
