Local is finalist for S.C. Homecoming Queen

Imani Regine Atkins, daughter of Donna Britton of Georgetown, has been selected finalist for South Carolina’s 34th annual Homecoming Queen Selection to be held March 23 at the Hotel Salisbury and Conference Center in Salisbury, N.C.

She is the Waccamaw High School Homecoming Queen. South Carolina’s 2014 Homecoming Queen will receive a cash scholarship plus an all-expense paid trip to the National Finals to compete with the queens from the other states for America’s Homecoming Queen. America’s Homecoming Queen Inc. is a nonprofit promoting education, educational travel, and community service in all fifty states.

Atkins will also be competing for South Carolina’s favorite homecoming queen. You can vote for her for South Carolina’s favorite homecoming queen at www.americashomecomingqueen.
