A 26-year-old man was arrested March 11 for failing to update his information on the state's Sex Offender Registry after moving to Georgetown County, according to a Sheriff's Office report.

Deputies were notified by two people that Carl Mark Eoff had been living at a home in the 13700 block of County Line Road - between Stamper Road and Notrth Morgan Ave. in Andrews.

One of the complainants said  Carl Mark Eoff Eoff moved into her home - where her daughter also lives - Feb. 17 and refused to leave when asked to do so several times.

On March 10, a deputy verified Eoff was still staying at that location, the report states.

Because Eoff did not update the registry within three days of leaving Summerville, where he had been living, that case was presented to a magistrate for warrant consideration.

The warrant was signed and Eoff was arrested, He has been released from jail under a $3,000 bond, according to jail records.

It was a second offence charge because, according to the report, Eoff was convicted of failing to register in September 2012.

He was convicted of criminal sexual conduct with a minor in Oregon in 2008.
