Bonneau Lesesne

Bonneau Driggs Lesesne, age 75, of Andrews departed this life on Friday, March 14, 2014 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Lesesne was born the son of Bonneau Dixon Lesesne and Adrain Rene Driggs Lesesne on Oct. 28, 1938 in Florence.

He was a 1961 graduate of Wofford College and the Culinary Institute of America in New York.

He was the manager of BDL Properties and the former CEO of Southeast Vending Company.

Mr. Lesesne was the owner and operator of several restaurants in the Florence area including: The Greenbriar, Bonneau’s, Heritage Inn and Villa Bonneau’s.

He served in many professional organizations including: President of Toastmasters; President of the Rotary Club-Andrews Chapter; President of the South Carolina Automatic Merchandising Association; and the Florence County Chamber of Commerce.

As a professional businessman and caterer, Mr. Lesesne was featured in the Southern Living Magazine and on the cover of Table Top Dining.

He was a professional drummer and traveled with many orchestras.

His greatest accomplishment and love was that of being a husband, father, and papa.

He leaves behind his wife, Brenda Davis Lesesne; two daughters, Cynthia Ann Lesesne of Florence and Cheri Angela Bishop of Cassatt; two step-children, Megan Crumbo of Columbia and Molly Crumbo of Andrews; and a step-grandson, Mason.

He was predeceased by his parents; the mother of his children, Dolores “Dee” M. Briggs; and a brother, David Lesesne.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the Andrews First Presbyterian Church, directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.

Officiating will be the Rev. Clinton Stockton.

The Lesesne family will receive family and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at their home, 509 South Morgan Ave., Andrews, S.C.

McKenzie Funeral Home is honored to serve the Lesesne family.
