Ethel Marie Miller Walker, age 76, wife of John Tynch, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born on August 23, 1937, in Georgetown, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson Miller and the late Sarah Russ Miller.
Mrs. Walker was a member of Calvary Freewill Baptist Church, was the assistant manager at the Choppee High School Cafeteria and was a graduate of Howard High School.
She enjoyed painting, crafts and serving her Lord through many different ways to include playing the piano.
Survivors include her husband of Georgetown; four sons, William “Buck” Walker (Wanda) of Georgetown, Dennis “Glenn” Walker (Cynthia) of Hemingway, Quincey “Ronnie” Walker (Lisa) of Loris and Quintin “Arnie” Walker (Elaine) of Georgetown; two daughters, Janet W. Morris (Barry) of Georgetown and Bonnie Gail “BG” Woodbury (David) of Andrews; six step-children, James Tynch (Doris), Johnny Tynch and Shirley Madry (Mel), all of Edenton, N.C., Reba Smith of Hertford, N.C., Jamie Howell (Charlie) of Georgetown and Becky Tynch of Myrtle Beach; a brother, Frank R. Miller of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; and three special sisters, Betty Ray and Ann Williams, both of Georgetown, and Kitty Tidwell of Lake City; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Benjamin Walker; and a son, Timothy E. “Timmy” Walker.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Graves Southern Baptist Church.
Entombment will follow in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday at Graham Funeral Home.

Carol Ann Clemmons Howard, 68, wife of Lonnie C. Howard, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Born on June 25, 1945, in Wilmington, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Lofton B. Clemmons and the late Lena C. Clemmons.
Mrs. Howard attended Georgetown First Assembly of God and enjoyed fishing, reading, traveling, going on vacation and shopping.
Survivors include her husband of Georgetown; three children, Della A. Lambert Bryant (Greg) , Benjamin B. Lambert Jr. and Tracy M. Lambert Russ (Dennis), all of Georgetown; two step children, Patricia Thomas (Fredrick) of Jacksonville, Fla. and Lonnie C. Howard II (Gigi) of Liberty Township, Ohio; three grandchildren, Meghan B. Goins (Wendell), Dalton Bryant and Lindy M. Hall; four step-grandchildren, Cindy Hatchett (Kent), Joseph Thomas (Krista), Fred Thomas and Jessica Howard; one great-grandchild, Jackson D. Truluck; four step-great-grandchildren, Bryan Hatchett, Lauren Hatchett, Tanner Thomas and Jase Thomas; two sisters, Brenda C. Moree (Logan) of Georgetown and Deborah C. McKenna (James) of Florence; one brother, Louis Clemmons of Hiram, Ga.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Patrick Lambert; and a brother, Marshall R. Clemmons.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Georgetown First Assembly of God with Rev. Dave Hoskins officiating.
Inurnment will followed in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
