Shawn Roper joins DeBordieu Colony Real Estate

Shawn Roper, former head golf professional at DeBordieu Club, has joined the team at DeBordieu Colony Real Estate as a sales executive.

With degrees in golf course management and business administration/marketing, Roper has 20 years of experience in the resort and private sectors of the golf industry.

Roper began his tenure with DeBordieu Club in 2000, and has been the head golf professional for 10 years.

Roper currently also serves as the chairman of the Board of Directors for the Montessori School of Pawleys Island and is an active at All Saints Church.

“I love DeBordieu,” Roper said, “and can’t wait to share my knowledge of the community, club and lifestyle with those interested in this very special place.”

New sales associates Lui Cheng and Timmy Cooper have joined Coldwell Banker Commercial Chicora Real Estate. The office is located at 210 Highway 17 South in Surfside Beach.

The list of top financial advisors appears in the magazine’s Feb. 24 issue and recognizes advisors who demonstrate professionalism, performance, outstanding client service, and community involvement.
