A Georgetown man wanted for an armed robbery that occurred in early February is now in custody. Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Carrie Cuthbertson  says 39-year-old Jimmy Cagle, whose last known address was 229 Tailwater Trail in Georgetown, was arrested Monday morning. He was wanted for Armed Robbery and Kidnapping for an incident which occurred on February 6. At approximately 2:30 a.m. that day Cagle held a knife to a man's throat and took his wallet. While continuing to hold a knife to the victim's throat, Cagle demanded he drive him around Georgetown to various locations. Cagle fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash before  deputies arrived. The victim was not injured during the incident. A citizen's tip led deputies to the residence on Dove Street in the Sampit Community where Cagle was located Monday. Cagle was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Georgetown County Detention Center, Cuthbertson said.  Cagle also has three active Assault & Battery Third Degree warrants with the sheriff's office on unrelated cases, she said.
