Nine people were arrested on drug charges in a 36-hour period starting on Wednesday, according to the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office.
The charges included distribution of crack, manufacturing marijuana, distribution of marijuana, distribution of marijuana within half mile of school, possession of crack, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a family court bench warrant. Agents also dismantled a marijuana growing operation, seized more than 700 grams of marijuana, a small amount of crack, a 9mm handgun, a rifle, and one vehicle. Three subjects are still being sought.
Those arrested were: Ryan Britton, 31, of 145 Waverly Road, Pawleys Island; Richard Neal Cox, 65, of 4732 Kent Road, Andrews; Malcolm John Cromedy, 37, of 130 Hogan Lane, Georgetown; Jon Michael Duvall, 18, of 5199 Kent Road, Andrews; Albert Glen Lambert, 19, of 16552 County Line Road, Andrews; Marvin Martinez, 18, of 902 West Elmwood, Andrews; Ronald Lamount Mickel, 42, of 312 C Street, Georgetown; Casey James Smith, 23, of 316 Sebastian Street, Myrtle Beach; Alston Hampton Tiller, 18, of 110 Clancurry Place, Pawleys Island.
They were transported to the Georgetown County Detention Center.
