Garden planning and herbs 101 is the subject of Low Country Herb Society’s March meeting

The Low Country Herb Society will meet at 10 a.m. on March 11 at St. Paul’s Waccamaw United Methodist Church in Litchfield.

LCHS member Erynn Benjamin will present a program on selecting and growing herbs, and information on Spring herb garden planting.

LCHS is finishing its meeting year of regular meetings. The members are working on plans for the Spring Festival and Herb Sale to be held at Inlet Culinary Garden, Murrells Inlet to be held April 4-5.

Membership in The Low Country Herb Society is open to all throughout the Grand Strand area.

No experience necessary. A “meet and greet” social time, to welcome guests and members is held prior to the meeting with refreshments provided by LCHS members.

LCHS meets from September through May and the annual dues are $20 and include a quarterly newsletter.
