Lowcountry Prep baseball opens season

On Monday, Lowcountry Prep’s baseball team took the field for there first game of the season at Faith Christian Academy located in Summerville. Because of rain, the game only lasted less than four innings. Will Bushnell threw three innings and gave up two runs. Bryant Davis went 2-2 with four RBIs, and Thomas Deschamps went 2-3 with one RBI. Fighting Marlins coaches were happy with the results and the fundamentals that were shown during the game. The Marlins’ next game will be a home match at the Retreat Park in Pawleys Island on Wednesday at 4 p.m. For more information about Lowcountry baseball contact Jamie Prosper, athletic director, at 843-237-4147.
