Join the fun for the celebration on Front Street in beautiful, historic Georgetown.
The Mardi Gras Parade “Strut on the Street” begins at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, up and down Front Street, from Screven to King and back to the Maritime Museum.
To participate, meet up at the Town Clock by 6 p.m.
Following the parade there will be a great party (starts at 7 p.m.) at the Maritime Museum, with wine, beer, soft drinks, hors d'oeuvres from many of the great Georgetown establishments, King Cake, dancing, election of King and Queen, and more fun Mardi Gras traditions.
Admission is $20 per person, and tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door.
Get a “Mardi Gras Krewe” together (that's a group of 10 or more revelers with a common theme for the parade and the party) and receive a $5 discount. Discount group tickets must be purchased in advance of the party.
