St. Frances Animal Center of Georgetown has many animals seeking new homes. The Georgetown Times will feature Pets of the Week each Wednesday.
Hello, let me tell you a bit about myself. I am a young Bombay cat, with eyes that sparkle. I like to greet visitors, and tend to spend my days cuddling up or playing with the other cats. I am a sweet, lovable, girl, who has been named Robin. The first thing Saint Frances did for me was give me a name, something Iíve never had before. Next was love, something that was also new for me. Something that I never want to go without again. So if you are looking to add a special addition to your family. Come adopt me today, and love me forever. I promise to return the favor.
Hello, my name is Allison. I am a Lab Retriever Mix. I arrived at Saint Frances two years ago in the hopes of finding a family to call my own. I realized that life on the road just was not for me. I am energetic and friendly. I love toys, going for walks, and I love treats. In the time that Iíve been here Iíve watched countless dogs get the happy ending that I yearn so deeply for. While I am happy for those who have found families, I canít help but wonder why I havenít been given the same chance for happiness? Whatís wrong with me, why doesnít anyone want me? I want to share my love with someone who will truly love me and enjoy the happy dog I am. Please prove to me that I am worth loving and adopt me today.
Hello, my name is Makayla and Iím a brown boxer mix. I came to Saint Frances with nine brothers and sisters. Everyone has been adopted and they have all found their permanent homes. I too was adopted as a puppy. Unfortunately for me, the family that chose me didnít realize the responsibilities that go into having a pet. So, I was brought back to the shelter. Iíve been here for a year now hoping that I will find the same happiness my brothers and sisters have. Help me find my second chance and adopt me today.
