Big Bird migrates on Time Warner Cable

Fans of Big Bird and Antiques Roadshow using Time Warner Cable may find South Carolinaís public television service on a new channel in March.

South Carolina ETVís new Time Warner Cable channel number in the Georgetown area is 1221. This change is scheduled to take place March 4. Viewers may need to rescan as a result. Those who already receive ETV on a cable channel below 100 will not be affected.

ETVís South Carolina Channel is also moving to cable channel 1275 and ETV World is moving to channel 1276. The South Carolina Channel features home, hearth and history programming, including the CreateTV block of crafts, a late-night block of PBS KIDS, and local documentary programs. ETV World is the home of ETVís State House coverage Tuesdays Ė Thursdays. It also broadcasts live newscasts from around the world as well as the PBS west coast schedule.
